Wild Canadian Sockeye Salmon Fillet
Sockeye salmon caught in the Pacific Ocean of Western Canada is generally considered sustainable and of the highest quality. Sockeye is a good choice for people who like highly flavourful salmon with rich texture, and it is also a good source of high quality protein and Omega 3.
Frozen, vacuum packed. To defrost, submerge sealed bag in cold water for 30 min. Remove from the bag. Rinse and pat dry.
Suggested cooking instruction:
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Sear over medium heat on a non-stick pan for 2 minutes on each side.
- Dill Sauce – Add 40g of butter to pan until melted. Add 1 tsp dill, 1 clove chopped garlic and a pinch of salt to the melted butter.
- Add lemon juice to the seared salmon, then pour the sauce.
