Verrigni Bucatini Italian Durum Wheat Pasta (500g)


Verrigni is famous for producing superior quality artisanal pastas that are sought out by top Italian chefs. They dry their pasta at the most ideal temperature for pasta drying. They use the ancient “preincarto” technique using a small room with many fans, keeping the tempertaure of the pasta between 45-50 degrees. Along with using water from Grano Sasso, a major contributor to the quality of Verrigni is also the use of the finest durum wheats and grinding them by hand with stone milestones.

Bucatini pasta looks similar to spaghetti except that it has a hole in the middle, like a tiny tunnel. This shape allows the pasta to get fully coated and filled with sauce.
