The very noble taste wavers between woody, ripe fruits and maple syrup overtones. It is a rare honey, enhanced by a dark color and a liquid texture, lightly syrupy. In addition to that, it is a very aromatic honey with light resin scents. Its flavor is sweet with a long-lasting taste.

Fir honey comes from an irregular nectar production, which might happen all over summer. Its harvest is unpredictable as nectar flow can be abundant or nearly nonexistent.
