Grana Padano 18 Months DOP (200g)
Grana Padano is an Italian hard cheese made from raw cow milk, semi-skimmed through a natural creaming process, that undergoes a subsequent maturation. Its smooth, natural rind is extremely hard and thick. Grana Padano cheese has a more subtle and less salty flavor than Parmesan.
This version is aged for 18 months, which yields a rich, full-bodied cheese with a fragrant aroma.
Its name is derived from “Grana” due to its texture, which means grainy in Italian, and “Padano” from the production area in the “Pianura Padana” which is the Po River Valley in northern Italy.
