The term “Capuliatu” in Sicilian dialect has the meaning of grinded. According to tradition, this method of preserving dried tomatoes involve grinding and seasoning with oil and parsley. In this recipe, the Nocellara olive oil, an oil with intense and balanced aromas, is used.

These ready-to-use pasta sauces are made only with high-quality ingredients, such as Frantoi Cutrera’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to level up any pasta dish.

Since 1906 the Cutrera family has been cultivating olives in Chiaramonte Gulfi, near the city of Ragusa, in the region of Sicily. Today, the family continues to manage the company, taking care of over 50 hectares of olive groves in southeastern Sicilia. It’s olive oil has won numerous awards.
