Aji Amarillo Paste (215g)
Aji amarillo (Yellow Chili Pepper) is Peru’s most important ingredient used in many dishes, such as causa rellena, papa a la huancaína, aji de gallina (spicy creamed chicken) and many more. Aji amarillo is also used in many sauces, where it adds a bright yellow/orange color as well as flavour.
Ají paste is a concentrated paste, made from marinated or fresh yellow peppers. They are seeded, but not totally deveined, so our version is slightly spicy. It can be used as a base for cooking, seasoning and/or marinating meats or vegetables.
